Eighth Air Force. 600 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) heavy bombers, escorted by Mrs from 10 groups, bomb 4 marshalling yards at Ingolstadt, Freiburg, Reutlingen, and Augsburg, and several other targets in South West Germany. 3 fighters groups fly sweeps and strafe ground targets while 3 groups of fighter-bombers bomb marshalling yards, roads and rail targets.

Ninth Air Force. 16 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) 9th Bomber Division bombers hit Simmern bridge to help thwart movement in Trier area. XIX Tactical Air Command escorts medium bombers, flies armed reconnaissance and patrols, and supports United States III and VIII Corps in Houffalize, Bastogne, Wiltz areas.

Twelfth Air Force. Operations resume as weather clears. Medium bombers concentrate on Brenner rail line, flying nearly 150 sorties against bridges at San Michele all'Adige, Rovereto, Ala, Lavis, Santa Margherita d'Adige, and Motta di Livenza. XXII Tactical Air Command attacks command in Po Valley and further North, destroying or damaging several bridges and a very large number of railway cars most of them at Como marshalling yard. During 14-15 January 1945, light bombers hit targets in Po Valley, including Po crossings at Borgoforte, Piacenza, and San Benedetto Po.

Fifteenth Air Force. 400 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers and B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bombers escorted by 270 P-38 Lightning fighters and P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers, bomb marshalling yards and other railroad command in Northeast and Southeast Vienna and marshalling yard at Treviso.

Tenth Air Force. 12 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb troop concentration and supply area at Mong Ngaw. 6 fighter-bombers damage bridge at Namhkai. 11 support ground forces along the Irrawaddy, bombing Mabein, hitting cable crossing at Myitson, and attacking ferry landing on Nampaw River, a tributary. Troops, supplies, tanks and targets are attacked at several points in North Burma including Mong Tat, Mong Yok and Mong Pa. Transports fly 527 sorties to forward areas. General Wedeymeyer, Stratemeyer, and Sultan confer at Myitkyina and agree that an Army Air Force Headquarters to command United States Tenth and Fourteenth Air Forces should be set up in China.

Fourteenth Air Force. 18 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-26 Marauder medium bombers, supported by 20 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers and P-40 fighters, attack Hankow. Others hit Wan Pa-Hsa town area and damage nearby bridge, attack shipping near Amoy, and hit targets in Siang Chiang and Hsiang Valleys and from Hong Kong to Foochow. 130 P-40 fighters and P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers on armed reconnaissance attack numerous targets throughout South China from Burma border to Southeast coast.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers, B-25 Mitchell medium bombers, A-20 Havoc light bombers, and fighter-bombers attack objectives on Luzon, in Central Phil, and on Palawan, hitting highways, railroads, airfields and numerous targets including tanks, trucks, and other vehicles. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers also bomb Jesselton airfields.

Seventh Air Force. 12 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers from Saipan hit airfields on Iwo Jima. 2 heavy bombers, operating singly from Guam and Saipan, strike Iwo Jima airfields during 15-16 January 1945.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit near Shoeburyness.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Chingford.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit near Whitstable.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Off Polling.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Hackney.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Rainham.
