Ninth Air Force. 260 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) A-26 Invader light bombers, and B-26 Marauder medium bombers hit Recklinghausen, Siegburg, and Opladen marshalling yards, Siegburg storage depot, and town of Bochum as a target. Weather grounds IX and XIX Tactical Air Command. XXIX Tactical Air Command flies alerts and covers United States XVI Corps as it completes drive to the Rhine in Rheinburg area.

Twelfth Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) medium bombers pound command in Brenner Pass and hit bridges at Pordenone, Ossenigo, Enego, Ora, Pizzighetone, and San Ambrogio di Valpolicella. Fighters and fighter-bombers concentrate on close support of United States Fifth Army South and South West of Bologna. During 5-6 March 1945, a few A-20 Havoc light bombers bomb targets in Po Valley.

Fifteenth Air Force. Bad weather restricts all operations except reconnaissance and a supply mission, with escort, to Yugoslavia.

Tenth Air Force. 31 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) P-47 Thunderbolt fighters support British 36th Division forces in Mogok area. 12 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers join 60 fighter-bombers in striking troop concentrations, road traffic, supply and fuel dumps, and other targets in vicinity of the battlefront and in areas close behind enemy lines. Transport operations continue on a large scale with 663 sorties completed to forward areas throughout the day.

Fourteenth Air Force. 4 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers bomb Chikhom. About 50 fighter-bombers hit storage, troops, railroad targets, and river and road traffic around Hankow, along Pinghan railroad, Kaifeng, Suchow, Hsuchang, Changsha, Yoyang, Liuyang, and Hengyang, and on railroads from Liuliho to Chengtung and from Tungpu to Tatung.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) heavy bombers pound San Roque and Zamboanga areas. Other heavy bombers, medium bombers, and fighter-bombers hit Antipolo area, bomb Balete Pass, and support guerrillas near San Fernando, Fort Drum, and Caballo Island. B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and P-38 Lightning fighters attack Hainan Island and considerably damage Samah airfield. Fighters sweeping over Formosa hit Koshun area.

Seventh Air Force. 11 Guam based United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers again pound Susaki airfield. 5 more hit the airfield during 6-7 March 1945, in separate strikes. 28 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers and 12 P-61 Black Widow, night fighters land on Iwo Jima.

Eleventh Air Force. Mission to the Kurils is cancelled due to inclement weather.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Bexley.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Rainham.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit West Ham.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Sidcup.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Barking.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Woolwich.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Bowers Marshes.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Wandsworth.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Walthamstow.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Wandsworth.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit West Ham.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Woolwich.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Ilford.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Chigwell.
