Twelfth Air Force. XII A Support Command B-25 Mitchell medium bombers bomb Kalamaki airfield, and its fighters patrol battle area. Other Northwest African Tactical Air Force (NATAF) fighters hit road traffic South of Ancona.

Fifteenth Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb Eleusis airfield and P-38 Lightning fighters provide escort.

Fourteenth Air Force. 20 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers are dispatched against Hong Kong Kowloon area. Bad weather prevents 15 heavy bombers from bombing targets 5 bomb docks at Kowloon.

Fifth Air Force. Over 30 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers pound Alexishafen. 88 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers heading for Wewak and Boram with escort of 16 P-40 fighters are intercepted by Japanese fighters that are escorting bombers attacking Gusap. The resulting battle causes the medium bombers to abort the attack. The United States aeroplanes claim 20 of the enemy shot down. 2 P-40 fighters are lost. P-47 Thunderbolt fighters claim 5 more aircraft destroyed over Wewak.

Thirteenth Air Force. 20 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers strike Buka Airfield, and 18 bomb Kahili. Fighter patrols destroy or damage several barges along the coast of Bougainville and destroy 2 fuel dumps at Tonolai.

Seventh Air Force. 20 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers from Canton and Nanumea Islands bomb Jaluit, Mille, and Makin.
