History

The 14. Räumbootsflottille was formed in December 1943 in the English Channel and was commanded by Otto Nordt, this flotilla was made up of the following 1934 Type and 1937-43 Type R-boats and was deployed for minesweeping and security duties.

After the war ended the 14. Räumbootsflottille was deployed for minesweeping by The German Mine Sweeping Administration (GMSA) around the coastal waters of Denmark.
