Krupp AG was a German vehicle manufacturing company, Krupp
accepted its first order for Panzer I tanks in 1933, and
during the course of WWII made munitions and other armaments
for the Wehrmacht. Krupp also owned Germaniawerft
shipyard, which launched the German cruiser Prinz
Eugen, as well as many of Kriegsmarines U-boats using
prefabricated parts supplied by other Krupp factories.
As a point of interest in the 1930s, Krupp developed two
80 cm railway guns, the Schwerer Gustav
and the Dora. These guns were the largest artillery pieces
ever fielded by an army during wartime. And of course
