The 2.8 cm KwK 42 or (2.8 cm Kampfwagenkanone 42) was modified from the 2.8 cm s PzB 41 (2.8 cm Schwere Panzerbüchse 41) anti-tank gun in total, 24 were produced, but was not used on any vehicles, however, the original variant 2.8 cm s PzB 41 was mounted on Sd.Kfz. 250/11 Alte leichte Schützenpanzerwagen schwerer Panzerbüchse 41, Sd.Kfz. 221 (MG) Leichte Panzerspähwagen.
