Eighth Air Force. 1,201 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) heavy bombers bomb 6 benzol plants, 7 marshalling yards, aircraft plant, rail centre, synthetic oil plant, and a city area in West Central Germany. 287 sorties by 6 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers groups provide support.

Ninth Air Force. Operational Headquarters of XXIX Tactical Air Command moves from Maastricht to Monchen, Gladbach. 328 medium bombers and light bombers hit 7 command centres, road overpass, and military transport depot in furtherance of interdiction program. Weather prevents fighters operations except for small alert mission by XXIX Tactical Air Command.

Twelfth Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) medium bombers are hampered by heavy clouds but hit Novara marshalling yard, Longarone and Mori rail fills, and Rovereto bridge. Fighters and fighter-bombers pound command and supplies, destroy road bridge South West of Bologna, severely damage ammunition plant and surrounding complex North West of Milan, and hit several other targets, including bridge near Montebello which Brazilian P-47 Thunderbolt fighters operating with XXII Tactical Air Command cut in half. A-20 Havoc light bombers, operating during 7-8 March 1945, attack river crossings at Borgoforte, Cremona, Ostiglia, San Benetto Po, Viadana, and Ora, and numerous vehicles, lights, and general movement in Central Po Valley and along Brenner line.

Fifteenth Air Force. More than 550 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) heavy bombers hit Hegyeshalom, Komarom, and Verona, Maribor locomotive depot, and Kapfenberg steel works. P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers and P-38 Lightning fighters fly escort and reconnaissance missions.

Tenth Air Force. 20 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) P-47 Thunderbolt fighters support British 36th Division. 40 fighter-bombers hit troop concentrations and supply areas along battlefront and behind enemy lines. 39 others sweep roads South of the bomb line, attacking gun positions and other targets. Transports fly 554 sorties to advanced bases and over front line areas.

Fourteenth Air Force. 34 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers, supported by 21 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers, pound Shihkiachwang. 3 B-24 Liberator heavy bombers claim transport sunk in South China Sea. 16 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and 6 P-40 fighters attack railroad tracks, boxcars, gun positions, sampans, and locomotives, knock out 2 bridges and damage another, and destroy and damage several locomotives at or near Hengshan, Yehhsien, Lohochai, and Chungmow. 140 fighter-bombers fly armed reconnaissance over wide areas of South and East China, attacking numerous targets, mainly river, road, and railroad targets, storage areas, gun positions, and troops, concentrating around Changsha, Changanyi, and bridge at Puchi.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers pound Zamboanga area. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers hit road targets at Balete Pass while A-20 Havoc light bombers support guerrilla forces in San Fernando area. Fighter-bombers hit fuel dumps, gun positions, and other targets near Angat and Ipo dam and numerous targets in Antipolo area, personnel and storage areas near Baguio, and several targets in Cagayan Valley including town of Caggay, Dummun River area, and barges at Naguilian.

Seventh Air Force. 14 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers from Guam bomb Susaki airfield through heavy cloud layers. 5 more heavy bombers hit Susaki again during 5 individual harassment strikes during 8-9 March 1945.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Woolwich.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Writtle.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit near Clacton.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit St Mary Cray.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Ilford.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit West Ham.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Finsbury.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Farringdon Road.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Blackheath.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Sidcup.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Horton Kirby.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Dunton.
