Fourteenth Air Force. 5 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and 4 P-47 Thunderbolt fighters knock out bridge on Pinghan railroad while 4 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers knock out another Northeast of Kihsien on Tungpu railroad. 70 other P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers damage several bridges, hit rail, road and river traffic, supplies, troops, and general targets throughout South and East China.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) A-20 Havoc light bombers and fighter-bombers continue to pound Luzon, chiefly around Cagayan Valley, Southeast of Aparri, and around Cervantes. Heavy strikes in Central Cagayan area are in support of guerilla offensive. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb fortifications and antiaircraft guns at Balikpapan while B-25 Mitchell medium bombers hit North Borneo targets including Keningau airfield and targets North and North West of Kudat. Other B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb docks, warehouses, and railroad yards at Kiirun. B-25 Mitchell medium bombers pound Shoka railroad yards and P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers attack antiaircraft positions between Rokko and Toyohara. 2 bridges in Shoka area are destroyed or badly damaged.

Twentieth Air Force. Approximately 480 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-29 Superfortress heavy bomber's fly incendiary bombing raids on Toyohashi, Fuknoka, and Shizuoka during 19-20 June 1945, while 28 others mine Shimonoseki Strait and waters at Niigata, Miyazu, and Maizuru.

Seventh Air Force. 22 Guam based United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb airfields on Marcus. 47 Ie Shima based P-47 Thunderbolt fighters bomb airfields on Tokuno while 16 others patrol uneventfully over Amami-O-Shima.

VII Fighter Command. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) fighters dispatched from Iwo Jima against Kagamigahara airfield and Meiji abort because of bad weather.

Eleventh Air Force. In a coordinated shipping search, a United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers flies theatres longest mission, a 2,700 mile round-trip lasting 15 1/2 hours and flying as far as Uruppu Island. Turning North the B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bombs a small convoy 25 miles South West of Shimushu Bay, sinks vessel, heavily damages another, and sets 2 more afire. Another B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bombs and photographs Matsuwa Island. 4 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers break off a shipping sweep due to presence of fighters.
