Fourteenth Air Force. 14 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers damage bridge near Singtai and attack barracks, river craft, fuel dumps, trucks and other targets around Taohsien, Lingling, Liuchow, and Kaifeng.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) fighter-bombers again pound Cagayan Valley area and support ground forces East of Manila. Heavy bombers bomb Labuan Island and Brooketon in coordination with landings of Australian 9th Division on shore of Brunei Bay and on islands of Labuan and Muara.

Twentieth Air Force. 280 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-29 Superfortress heavy bomber's, some escorted by P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers of VII Fighter Command, bomb aircraft plants at Tominka. Chiba and Ogikubo, seaplane base at Kasumigaura, Tachikawa Army Air Arsenal, and engineering works at Hitachi. The fighters claim 26 fighters downed.

Seventh Air Force. 39 Ie Shima based United States Army Air Force (USAAF) P-47 Thunderbolt fighters sweeping Kyushu, strafe numerous ground targets, and claim 17 aircraft shot down.

Eleventh Air Force. 2 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers fly with Navy aircraft on shipping attack and hit a small cargo vessel.
