Ninth Air Force. XXIX Tactical Air Command (Provisional) locates advance Headquarters at Arlon. Weather prevents bomber operations. A few fighters fly armed reconnaissance over East France and wide areas of West Germany and patrol battle areas. Night patrols are flown over East France and Luxembourg.

Twelfth Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and B-26 Marauder medium bombers attack bridges, fuel dumps, factory, and barracks in Central and West Po Valley, including 3 attacks on Piacenza while XII Fighter Command's light bombers hit fuel dump and bivouacs and fighter-bombers blast guns and command in mountainous battle areas between Florence and Bologna.

Fifteenth Air Force. 5th Photo Group, Reconnaissance, with component units, is assigned to Fifteenth Air Force, completing the full establishment of 21 heavy bomber groups, 7 fighters groups, and 1 reconnaissance group, as authorised in War Department (WD) directive of 23 October 1943. Weather permits only photo and weather reconnaissance missions.

Tenth Air Force. 34 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) P-47 Thunderbolt fighters bomb Thetkegyin while 20 others hit railroad targets throughout North Burma railroad corridor and troop concentrations at Ponlon. 4 P-47 Thunderbolt fighters bomb Shwegugale while 6 others hit Lungling and sweep Burma Road in the area.

Fourteenth Air Force. 18 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers bomb Tien Ho and White Cloud airfields, town of Wuchou, and targets in Samshui and Canton areas. 100 P-40 fighters and P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers on armed reconnaissance throughout China areas South of the Yangtze hit variety of targets, concentrating on command targets and troops in Mangshih and Hsinganhsien areas.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb Langoan while B-25 Mitchell medium bombers hit Lembeh Island, Menado, and Bolaang-oeki port. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb Taka while P-38 Lightning fighters hit Amahai, Kairatoe, and shipping off Amboina. B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and P-38 Lightning fighters on shipping sweeps off Halmahera Island destroy several barges and luggers. A-20 Havoc light bombers and P-38 Lightning fighters attack Urarom airfield and Fak Fak supply dumps, while P-40 fighters hit Doom Island and targets in Windissi, Idorra, and MacCluer Gulf. P-47 Thunderbolt fighters and A-20 Havoc light bombers hit Doeroa, Langgoer, and Faan airfields.

Seventh Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers from Saipan strike airfield on Iwo Jima. B-25 Mitchell medium bombers from Makin bomb Nauru while B-24 Liberator heavy bombers, staging through Eniwetok, hit Truk.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Bedingham, near Bungay.
