light bombers hit tanks and vehicles further North, and attack
a large howitzer and numerous trucks East of Ousseltia.

Liberator heavy bombers hit harbour at Palermo and Messina:

Fifth Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) A-20
Havoc light bombers continue to strike along Mubo-Komiatum
Track. B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bombers and B-24 Liberator
heavy bombers attack Gasmata runway, Simpson Harbour, Cape
Gazelle area, and airfield at Cape Gloucester. B-25 Mitchell
medium bombers bomb Dobo on Wamar.
Thirteenth Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF)
P-39 fighters, P-38 Lightning fighters, and P-40 fighters,
along with Navy and Marine planes, attack Munda airfield.
