Palermo harbour. Offensive reconnaissance carried out over
large area of Somaliland by South African Air Force. Enemy
bomber destroyed at Bardera.
During the day a single Luftwaffe aircraft dropped bombs in
East Anglia and Kent.

Ju 87 dive bomber machine-gunned streets of one town.
No night air activity.
The Greek war, Athens announced successful local operations
on different parts of front. More than 1,000 prisoners taken
and much material. Greeks now about 16 miles Southeast of
Berat. Italian ski detachment broken up.
