Norwegian authorities claimed to have recaptured Roeros and
later to have driven the Germans from Toenset.
The British Royal Air Force (RAF) launched extensive night
attacks on aerodromes at Stavanger, Fornebu and Aalborg. Heavy
damage done to aerodromes and aircraft, in spite of strong
opposition. At least three Luftwaffe fighters shot down. Seven
British aircraft lost
The British Admiralty announced that the minesweeper HMS Dunoon
had been sunk by a mine.
