Norway valiantly resisting German invasion. Reported that
after a battle at Elverum, whither Norwegian government had
removed from Hamar, German troops retired to Minnesund with
heavy losses.
The British Royal Air Force (RAF) bombers twice attacked German
occupied aerodrome at Stavanger, doing considerable damage.
One aircraft failed to return.

Herr Nygaardsvold, Norwegian premier issued a proclamation
reaffirming Norway is determination to resist the Nazi invasion.
Stockholm radio station announced that Sweden had mined, her
Western coast.
The British air ministry stated that 19 German planes had
been shot down in Northern zones in four days, with the loss
of six British machines.
Two German reconnaissance planes, a
Heinkel,
and a
Dornier,
were shot down in flames in France.
