The 7.92 mm MG 17 (Maschinengewehr 17) was a machine gun designed and produced by Rheinmetall-Borsig in 1934. This weapon was widely used on many types of Luftwaffe planes, including Fighters, Fighter-Bombers, Night Fighters, Ground Attack. The 7.92 mm MG 17 was also modified for infantry use.
