The Sd.Kfz. 11 was a 3 ton halftrack prime mover used extensively
by the Wehrmacht during World War Two. In 1934 the first version
of this series appeared. This was the
Hansa
Lloyd, and
Goliath
version shortly after this firm became known as,
Borgward
AG.
In 1938 development was passed over to
Hanomag
of Hanover, and they were responsible for all 3 ton semi-halftrack
development. The final production model appeared in 1939 H
kl 6, At about the same time the armoured troop carrier version
was completed

251. The Sd.Kfz. 11 was manufactured by
Hanomag,
Adlerwerke,
Horch,
Skoda,
Borgward.
Of course, the Sd.Kfz. 11 was used extensively as a prime
mover to tow the many different guns, and trailers etc
