knock out bridge at Hsihhsiassuchi. 111 fighter-bombers, operating
in flights of 2 to 4 aircraft, attack numerous targets throughout
South and East China.
Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF)
B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb Matsuyama airfield and secondary
nearby targets and later bomb Toshien, Toko, and Kiirun. B-25
Mitchell medium bombers pound town of Mato. A-20 Havoc light
bombers and fighter-bombers fly numerous attack sorties in
support of ground forces in North and South Luzon. Fighter-bombers
fly support missions over Panay Island. B-24 Liberator heavy
bombers bomb Kudat and Keningau airfields. P-38 Lightning
fighters hit Ranau and Labuan airstrips while B-25 Mitchell
medium bombers support Australian troops at Tarakan Island.

Mitchell medium bombers over Indochina bomb Dong Hoi warehouses.
Seventh Air Force. 18 United States Army Air Force (USAAF)
P-47 Thunderbolt fighters from Saipan sweep Truk Atoll, strafing
airfields on Moen, seaplane base at Dublon, and shipping off
Param, off Moen, and between Dublon and Fefan.
