Eighth Air Force. 1,159 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) heavy bombers bomb synthetic oil plants at Bohlen, Ruhland, and Magdeburg, 2 oil refineries at Rositz and Schonebeck, marshalling yards at Chemnitz, Dresden, and Magdeburg, and targets in Germany and Czechoslovakia. 15 fighters groups fly 675 effective supporting sorties. Also part of 3 of these groups strafe airfields.

Ninth Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) 9th Bomber Division hits 5 bridges, 2 command centres, 3 ordnance and motor transport depots, several city areas, and 6 targets. Objectives are to hinder movement of enemy troops trying to help Wehrmacht army caught in front of United States Third Army, to obstruct movement in general, and to damage enemy repair and refitting capabilities. Over 1,700 fighters escort 9th Bomber Division, hit special targets, fly armed reconnaissance and patrols, and support United States 3d Armoured Division at expanding bridgehead on the Erft River, XVI and XIX Corps in Sevelen, Monchen, Gladbach, and Neuss area, and VIII, XII, and XX Corps East of Prum River, astride the Kyll River, and in Trier, Saarburg area.

Twelfth Air Force. Weather again grounds medium bombers, fighter-bombers and fighters hit command, ammunition and stores dumps, 2 sugar refineries, guns, vehicles, and buildings South of Bologna and in Po Valley, and airfield at Aviano and Lonate Pozzolo.

Fifteenth Air Force. 470 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers and B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bombers, with fighters flying escort, bomb marshalling yards at Linz, Sankt Polten, Amstetten, Graz, Knittelfeld, and Brescia. 31 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers on strafing mission attack rail and river command from Linz to Regensburg, while 18 others fly top cover. P-38 Lightning fighters fly reconnaissance missions. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers drop supplies during 1-2 March 1945, in North Italy and Central Yugoslavia.

Tenth Air Force. 20 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) P-47 Thunderbolt fighters fly close support strikes in Mogok area. 2 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers damage ferry slips at Li-lu while 10 others hit bridges at Tonglau, Na-lang, Mong Pawn, and Namsang. 90 fighter-bombers attack gun positions, troops, supply areas, and highway targets in general battle areas and behind enemy lines. Transports complete 564 sorties to forward areas.

Fourteenth Air Force. 3 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers on sweeps over Gulf of Tonkin and South China Sea claim 2 vessels sunk and 3 damaged.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers, B-25 Mitchell medium bombers, A-20 Havoc light bombers, and fighter-bombers hit Matsuyama, Toyohara, Kagi, and Kato airfields. Other B-24 Liberator heavy bombers pound Sepinggang and Manggar airfields and waterfront area of Sandakan.

Twentieth Air Force. Approximately 50 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-29 Superfortress heavy bomber's bomb shop and warehouse area at naval base in Singapore. 5 others hit alternates on Bukum Island, at Arang Hill, and at Khao Huakhang.

Seventh Air Force. 7 Guam based United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers make daylight raid on Chichi Jima airfield and 5 more bomb same airfield and town of Omura during 2-3 March 1945.

The rocket propelled Bachem Ba 349 Natter carried out its first test flight at Stetten am kalten Markt. However the launch fails and the pilot, Lothar Sieber, is killed.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Greenwich.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Orpington.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Chigwell.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Chigwell.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit near North Fambridge.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Herongate.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Egypt Bay.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit near Southend.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Brentwood.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Greenwich.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Orpington.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Chigwell.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Bermondsey.

V-2 rocket launched against England, hit Woking.
