Fourteenth Air Force. 28 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers hit rail, river, and road traffic, bridge, and buildings around Hengyang, Hankow, and Yoyang, attack bivouac area and Headquarters East of Changsha, bomb troop concentration and buildings at Yangan. The fighter-bombers pound Headquarters, buildings, fortified compound, barracks, general targets around Tartin, and troop concentration near Sichuan.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb defences in Halikpapan area and P-38 Lightning fighters support Australian forces as they complete capture of Balikpapan and its oil installations. B-25 Mitchell medium bombers hit Bintula personnel area. Fighter-bombers hit resistance pockets near Kiangan and supply areas in the Cervantes sector. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers pound Toyohara airfield.

Twentieth Air Force. During 2-3 July 1945, 39 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-29 Superfortress heavy bomber's bomb oil refinery at Minoshima.

Seventh Air Force. 3 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers from Guam attack radar installation on Marcus.
