Fourteenth Air Force. 10 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers, escorted by 2 P-47 Thunderbolt fighters, knock out bridge at Sinyang and severely damage bridge at Lohochai. 7 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers bomb town of Sinning, and hit several truck convoys between Siangtan and Changsha and in Siang Chiang Valley. 31 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers also bomb town of Sinning. 40 P-47 Thunderbolt fighters and P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers knock out at least 3 bridges and damage others and attack shipping, fuel dumps, gun positions, trucks, railroad yards and general targets around Sichuang, Shangkao, Yoyang, Hankow, Mingkiang, Sincheng, Yutze, Houmachen, Yuncheng, Anyang, and Kaoyi.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). Bad weather cancels all Far East Air Force (FEAF) missions from Okinawa. Thirteenth Air Force P-38 Lightning fighters support ground forces on North Luzon, hitting pockets of resistance West of Kiangan and blasting enemy occupied caves on ridge North West of Bontoc.

Twentieth Air Force. General Twining be comes Commanding General Twentieth Air Force. General Le May is assigned to United States Army Strategic Air Forces in the Pacific (USASTAF) as Chiefs of Staff.

Eleventh Air Force. 6 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers radar-bomb Kokutan Cape and visually bomb Kataoka.
