Fourteenth Air Force. 4 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers knock out East approach to Phu Lang Thuong bridge. 12 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers strafe airfields in Canton area. 4 P-38 Lightning fighters bomb locomotives and barracks area at Les Pins and Lang Son. 17 other fighters strafe railroad targets and river traffic around Wuchou, Siaokan, Peking, Hanoi, and Vinh.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). 150 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers, B-25 Mitchell medium bombers, and fighter-bombers continue heavy strikes against Balikpapan area concentrating on gun emplacements and defensive positions. A-20 Havoc light bombers and fighter-bombers pound troop concentrations and occupied areas in Cagayan Valley. Fighter-bombers attack pockets of resistance at Infanta and Antipolo areas. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb butanol plant at Kobi.

Twentieth Air Force. During 23-24 June 1945, 26 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-29 Superfortress heavy bomber's mine harbours of Fukuoka, Karatsu, Sakai, and Niigata.

Seventh Air Force. General White becomes Commanding General, Seventh Air Force. 38 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) P-47 Thunderbolt fighters from Ie Shima bomb airfields at Hakata and Itazuke and, during return flight, attack 2 boats off Amami Gunto. 40 other P-47 Thunderbolt fighters bomb Saitozaki airfield.

VII Fighter Command. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) fighters from Iwo Jima fly 99 effective sorties against airfields on Kagamigahara and Hyakuri. 19 aircraft are claimed downed and 21 destroyed on the ground.

Eleventh Air Force. 2 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers on shipping sweep between Matsuwa and Paramushiru sink 1 freighter, damage 2 more, and hit a whale boat. 1 fighters is claimed destroyed. 6 more B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb Kataoka.
