Twelfth Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) A-20 Havoc light bombers and A-26 Invader light bombers on intruder missions during 31 March 1945 to 1 April 1945, over Po Valley continue to attack road and railroad bridges, motor transport, loading points, and other targets. Principal strikes are made at Po River bridges. Fighters and fighter-bombers during the day strike rail bridges, dumps, rail lines, marshalling yards, trains, vehicles, gun positions, several buildings including ammunition plant and truck factory, and a variety of targets in Po Valley and Northeast Italy. Medium bombers hit railroad bridges at Calcinato, Crema, Mantua, Monselice, Colle Isarco, San Ambrogio di Valpolicella, and Perca.

Fifteenth Air Force. Nearly 400 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers and B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bombers bomb Maribor railroad bridge, marshalling yards at Sankt Polten, Selzthal, Zeltueg, Graz, and Villach, railroad bridge at Krieglach, and gun positions on Adriatic coast near Venice. 82 P-38 Lightning fighters bomb Ybbs railroad bridge while 52 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers strafe rail traffic in Prague, Plzen area. Other P-38 Lightning fighters and P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers fly reconnaissance and reconnaissance escort.

Tenth Air Force. 10 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers attack roads and bridges behind enemy lines in Central Burma. 478 transport flights are made throughout the day. British 36th Division forces begin to push down railroad from Mandalay to Rangoon.

Fourteenth Air Force. 7 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb Fort Bayard storage area. 6 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and 6 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers attack river shipping and warehouses in Sienning Puchi area. 4 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers attack railroad targets at Ninh Binh and Minh Koi. 5 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers hit warehouses and other buildings at Hsuchang while 3 damage bridge at Changtuikuan. Single B-25 Mitchell medium bombers bomb targets around Sanshihlitun, Sichuan, Loning, and Suicheng. 23 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers pound airfields in Shanghai area. 70 other fighter-bombers attack river, road, and rail traffic, storage areas, troops, and general targets throughout wide areas of occupied South and East China.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers attack Giran airfield while B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and P-47 Thunderbolt fighters sweep wide areas. On Luzon B-24 Liberator heavy bombers, A-20 Havoc light bombers, and fighter-bombers hit Legaspi area where United States amphibious landing is taking place, targets North of Balete Pass, Batangas area, and support troops over parts of South and North West Luzon. In Central Phil B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and A-20 Havoc light bombers support ground forces near Cebu City and on Negros. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers hit Oelin airfield.
