Twelfth Air Force. XII Air Force Services Command is disbanded at Siena.

Fourteenth Air Force. 3 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers blast supply convoys moving through Siang Chiang Valley. 43 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers and P-38 Lightning fighters attack bridges, river craft, barracks road traffic, and coastal shipping around Changsha, Hsinching, Hamrong, Tonkin area, Cao Bang, Luichow Peninsula, and Nanchang. 2 bridges are knocked out and others damaged, airfields are strafed at Vinh and Kiungshan.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers sweep Kyushu. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb Canton. Other B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb Toshien while A-26 Invader light bombers hit numerous targets at Tamazato. P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers hit targets along West Formosan coast. Fighter-bombers hit pillboxes East of Iguig, attack concentrations in Bontoc-Kiangan area, and support ground forces East of Manila. Town of Kiangan falls to 6th Infantry Division, but resistance in area continues. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers over Negros Island in support of ground forces bomb concentration Northeast of Mount Mandalagan. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers destroy Tandjung barrack area. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers hit Donggala warehouses.

Twentieth Air Force. During 12-13 July 1945, 453 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-29 Superfortress heavy bomber's drop incendiaries on Utsonomiya, Ichinomiya, Tsuruga, and Uwajima. 53 others bomb petroleum centre at Kawasaki.

Seventh Air Force. Headquarters Seventh Air Force on Okinawa is declared open by General Order on this date. 47 B-24 Liberator heavy bombers from Okinawa, failing to bomb primary (Tsuiki) because of clouds attack airfields on Kikaiga Island at Amami Gunto. 2 Okinawa based B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb Byu and Miyazaki airfields during the night. 50 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers bomb Kanoya airfield and town of Aburatsu on Kyushu and Tokuno airfield on Tokuno Island. Chiran airfield is pounded by 70 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and A-26 Invader light bombers. This is first strike against Japan by Seventh Air Force A-26 Invader light bombers. 2 more A-26 Invader light bombers hit Ibusuki seaplane station.

Eleventh Air Force. 4 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers on shipping sweep bomb and strafe a freighter. 1 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers is lost.
