Eighth Air Force. 71 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) medium bombers hit Evreaux, Fauville airfield in main attack. Other aircraft attack targets at Beauvais.

Twelfth Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and B-26 Marauder medium bombers of XII Bomber Command hit roads, railways, bridges, and junctions at Grottaminarda, Maddaloni, Benevento, Avellino, Capua, Cancello Arnone, Amorosi, Ponte, and Mignano, and attack destroyer between Corsica and Elba. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers on Detached Service from Eighth Air Force bomb marshalling yard at Pisa. United States and The British Royal Air Force (RAF) planes of Northwest African Tactical Bomber Force (NATBF), XII A Support Command, and other elements of Northwest African Tactical Air Force (NATAF) attack vehicles, roads, troop concentrations, and gun positions around Santa Lucia di Serino, Serino, Caserta, Benevento, Camarella, Baronissi, Nocera, Montemarano, and San Severo.

Fifth Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers fly small strike against Sorong and Manokwari.
