Paris announced that patrol units had been out for the first-time
in several days.
Fighting continued north of Lake Ladoga, but Russian attacks

12 inches of ice. The Thames froze over at Kingston anther
8 miles between Teddington, and Sunbury. The sea froze at
many points on the coast.
