Isthmus were repulsed. Russian aircraft made bombing raids over northern Finland,
and were met by Swedish volunteers in new fighter aeroplanes.

Admiralty announced that the trawler HMS Valdora was overdue and must be considered
lost.
The Greek steamer Ekatontarchos Dracoulis was reported sunk itself
of the Portuguese coast.
U-44
was responsible whilst under the command of Ludwig
Mathes.
The British Admiralty stated that two officers and 25 ratings
from HMS Rawalpindi prisoners of war in Germany.
Helsinki announced that
the new foreign Legion, including Estonian Lithuanian, British, French, German
and Italian volunteers had been formed and would shortly go to the front.
