Friedrich Eckoldt, Friedrich Ihn, Diether von Roeder, Theodor Riedel, Paul Jakobi,
Max Schulz, Erich Steinbrinck and Wilhlem Heidkamp.

The destroyer Bernd von Arnim takes part in operation Weser�bung (Invasion
of Denmark and Norway) along with Anton Schmitt, Wilhlem Heidkamp, Diether von
Roeder, Erich Giese, Erich Koellner, Georg Thiele, Hans Lüdemann, Hermann
Künne and Wolfgang Zenker.
13 April 1940 The destroyer
Bernd von Arnim scuttled and sunk undamaged due to there being no ammuntion or
fuel. 1 crew lost. Position 68° 25N 17° 54E.
