Fascinating history!
Very nice site, Came here after looking at an old movie about
Atlantis captain attempt to fight a war without killing crews
and passengers. Was glad to find out he lived after WWII and
even was in the navy again. Nice to see that some german officers
were men of exceptional integrity. And that it was recognized.
i appreciated knowing info about him after Atlantis.
wonderful cannon ! and i need to see cannons of another armies
!

I find everything about the battleship Gneisenau interesting.
I am working in Austrått war-museum in Norway, as a caretaker.
Gneisenhau's C-battery is my main target. The tower is still
standing here as a monument.
